Patrick Grove is the co-founder, major shareholder and Group CEO of Catcha Group, Southeast Asia’s leading Internet group focused on disruptive opportunities in emerging markets globally.
Patrick is recognised as one of the leading entrepreneurs in the Asia Pacific Region. Over the last thirteen years he has founded and taken five companies from start-up to IPO, recently selling one of those companies, iProperty Group in a transaction valued in excess of US$534m. The iProperty Group sale was the largest Internet company sale in ASEAN history.
He is co-founder and Chairman of Catcha Group’s ASX-listed company, iCar Asia. He is also co-founder and a Director of Rev Asia, one of Southeast Asia’s leading digital media groups as well as the Group’s newest business, iflix, Southeast Asia’s leading Internet TV service. He is additionally co-founder of Frontier Digital Ventures, a leading operator of online classified businesses in frontier markets.
Over the last decade, Patrick has been independently and widely recognised with numerous international awards, including Global Leader of Tomorrow by the World Economic Forum; New Asian Leader by the World Economic Forum; Young Entrepreneur of the Year by the Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore; Asia’s Best Young Entrepreneur by Bloomberg Business Week; and Australia Unlimited’s Global 50. He was also named one of Australia’s top 10 entrepreneurs by leading Australian publication BRW. He has recently been included on the Forbes Malaysia’s 50 Richest list and the BRW Rich 200 list. Patrick currently serves on the Innovation Board of the XPRIZE Foundation.
